View Heights Convalescent Hospital is a multi-faceted health facility
whose mission is to provide care at a level where we are treating and meeting the physical,
mental, emotional, psychiatric, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of our clientele
through care that nurtures, teaches, and empowers our residents to reach and maintain their
highest practical level of functioning.
Through client-centered treatment planning, not only do clients gain
esteem and a sense of purpose, but their participation motivates them
to greater levels of personal accomplishment and an enhanced quality
of life.

- Residents 65 years old and over with medical and nursing needs
- Veterans with skilled nursing and mental health needs
- Developmentally Disabled clients (DD) with diversed needs
- Clients diagnosed with mental illness and a dual-diagnosis
View Heights is a state licensed, Skilled Nursing Facility centrally located in
Southeast Los Angeles. The 163-bed facility is comprised of a 99-bed locked
section with a large secured courtyard, and a 64-bed open section with a
protective security system.
View Heights serves a diverse population with diverse needs through specialized
programs and services that provide psychiatric care, psychosocial rehabilitation
services, the Special Treatment Program, Geri-Psych services, and addiction
treatment. Our services are geared to the needs of persons with serious mental
illness, developmental disabilities, substance abuse affliction, skilled nursing
needs, Alzheimer's, Dementia, and/or other related conditions.
